On the morning of the upcoming Yom Kippur, the most sacred day in the Jewish calendar, we will gather in an intimate, spiritual space, as individuals and as a collective, for a time of quieting down, spiritual development, and atonement (“at-one-ment”). We will enter the realm of the sacred through different points of entry in the spiritual world: meditation, dialogue, quieting (“hashkata” practice), guided imagery, and prayer. The gathering will begin at 9 and end at 1. There is no need for prior knowledge; the meeting will be based on the traditional liturgy, but will not include the conventional service.
The session will be facilitated by Rabbi Yerach Meiersdorf, spiritual educator, of the Marom Olami organization; the session will take place in English.
